QUALIFICATION

Typical Geographic Indication Ogliastra wine from overripe grapes.

ASPECT

Ruby red with garnet tinges, clear, with clearly visible legs.

NOSE

Ample, intense and complex, with hints of black cherries, myrtle and plums, and a mentholated finish.

TASTE AND FLAVOUR

The initial sensation is all-embracing, sweet and mellow, excellently balanced by the well-developed tannins and with pronounced sapid feel. Pleasingly fresh finish.

ALCOHOL CONTENT

15% by vol.

SUGGESTED FOOD MATCHES

Excellent with typical sweet pastries, pastries with honey, tasty cheeses.
